Waterloo's Research and Technology Ecosystem

Waterloo is one of Canada's most concentrated technology and research hubs - home to the University of Waterloo, consistently ranked among North America's top engineering and computer science institutions, and its Institute for Quantum Computing, a world-leading quantum research facility. The university's engineering, health sciences, and physics faculties generate consistent demand for precision laboratory instruments, scientific equipment, and specialized machinery that requires expert packaging for domestic and international shipment. OpenText — one of the world's largest enterprise software companies — is headquartered in Waterloo, alongside Manulife Financial and a dense cluster of technology startups in the Communitech and Velocity ecosystems.

At Argos Crating, we build crates for the sensitive electronics, research equipment, and commercial machinery that moves through Waterloo's innovation corridor — engineered for the specific item and its destination.
